Everyday Werk LLC | everydaywerk.com
Everyday Werk creates editorial content to be useful, candid, and grounded in the questions that matter to our readers. Depending on the subject, our work may draw on firsthand experience, research, reporting, analysis, editorial judgment, and original visual storytelling. This page explains how we choose, create, review, illustrate, update, and maintain our editorial content.
How We Choose What to Cover
We select topics based on their relevance to Everyday Werk readers and our editorial focus, including earning and saving money, work and career, wellness, lifestyle, and navigating what comes next. Ideas may come from our own experience, reader questions and engagement, research, industry developments, or trusted media and authoritative sources.
How We Approach Reviews
Everyday Werk reviews are designed to be useful, candid, and grounded in the questions that matter to our readers. Our goal is not to manufacture a score. It is to give readers enough context to decide whether a product, app, service, book, or resource fits their own needs.
What We Consider
The factors vary by what we are reviewing. We may consider usefulness, value, ease of use, quality, limitations, cost, reader fit, and the gap between what is promised and what a reader is likely to experience.
For apps and services, considerations may include functionality, user experience, technical performance, cost, earning or saving potential, payout requirements and methods, reliability, privacy considerations, customer service, and the time or effort required to get value from the service.
For books and other media, we may consider the usefulness and relevance of the ideas, the quality and clarity of the material, the audience it serves, and the practical value a reader can take from it.
Firsthand Experience, Research, and Sources
When we have personally used a product or service, we aim to say so and distinguish first-hand experience from research or third-party information. We may use screenshots, images, provider documentation, authoritative sources, and other references when they help readers understand or verify a point. Not every review involves the same testing method or length of use, so the article itself should provide the relevant context.
Illustrations and Visual Content
Everyday Werk uses original and custom editorial illustrations to complement our content. Some illustrations may be created or developed using generative AI and other creative technologies. These tools may be used under human direction for concept development, composition, styling, image creation, and refinement.
AI-created or AI-assisted illustrations are used as editorial artwork and should not be understood as documentary photography or visual evidence of an actual scene, event, product, or experience unless specifically identified otherwise. Everyday Werk directs, reviews, and selects visual content before publication.
Product screenshots, original photographs, third-party images, and other sourced visuals may be identified, credited, or attributed separately when appropriate. Material relationships, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, gifted products, licensed materials, and other disclosures are handled separately when disclosure or attribution is required or appropriate.
No 1-to-5 Rating System
Everyday Werk does not currently assign a 1-to-5 score to reviews. We prefer a qualitative assessment that explains strengths, limitations, tradeoffs, and who may or may not find the item worthwhile. If we adopt a formal scoring system in the future, we will publish the methodology before using it.
Updates and Corrections
Products, apps, prices, policies, and services change. We periodically review and update content when practical. When an article has been materially updated, the Site may display an updated date. If we discover a meaningful factual error, we aim to correct it.
Affiliate, Referral, Sponsored, and Other Commercial Relationships
A commercial relationship does not guarantee favorable coverage. When Everyday Werk may receive compensation connected to a review or recommendation, we disclose the relationship as appropriate. Sponsored content will be identified as sponsored. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more information.
Editorial Independence
We do not sell positive reviews, favorable rankings, or predetermined conclusions. Brands may provide information, access, samples, sponsorship, or compensation when disclosed, but Everyday Werk retains editorial control over the substance of its coverage.
